Kendrick Lamar premieres the official video for his latest single ‘Dont Kill My Vibe’. The clip is directed by The Lil Homies & OG Mike Mihail and was shot out in Los Angeles. Mike Epps and Juicy J make appearances in the visual.

New Video: Kendrick Lamar Is Principal For A Day.
Kendrick took time out during his tour to reward the students at Mount Pleasant High School in Rhode Island for their attendance. As part of the “Get Schooled” program, K-Dot served as their principal for the day.
“Without education you don’t have anything,” said Kendrick, who was a 4.0 student at Centennial High School in L.A. and was the first in his family to graduate from high school. “My teachers were great positive influences in my life. My middle school English teacher was probably the reason I became a rapper. He used to encourage me to write poetry and would challenge me, which helped me improve my vocabulary and made me enjoy writing.”

Singer & songwriter,Erykah Badu recently caught up with Lamar by phone at the airport in Denver. Badu was at home in Dallas, Texas, and Lamar, who has seemingly been in constant motion while touring the world over the past year, was enjoying a rare unscheduled breather, having just missed his flight.

Mtv’s #1 Hottest MC K.Dot acquired a talent with words at an early age and developed over time. There’s no denying that K. Dot belongs among today’s elite hip-hop rhymesayers. The Compton rapper released his first mixtape, Y.H.N.I.C.. at the age of 16. In an interview with HipHopDX back in 2011, he said thatY.H.N.I.C. helped him to get his name out in the local rap scene.
“My first mixtape, I was 16 and it was called Y.H.N.I.C., Youngest Head Nigga In Charge. Kind of ignorant, right? We put it out on a local scale in Compton and built a buzz in the city and eventually got to this guy named Top Dawg, he had his own independent label and I’ve been with them since and we’ve just been developing my sound and branching off of that mixtape to eventually have a debut album.”
